Just booked for a Dec. 11th cruise - will it be...

For December cruises, do they decorate for the holidays or have any special menus or is that only on the actual holiday date?

I can't believe there wasn't a roll call for this cruise. I couldn't find anything on any social nw sites. I did start one though. :D.WE CAN'T WAIT! I have never cruised in the holiday season before, I am happy to have a fun trip.

Yes they decorating schedule will be released in mid to late November. The ship will definitely be decorated by then.

THat is so great, with what? Christmas trees & such?

We were on the Freedom ending the week before Christmas. The ship was decorated, Santa was on board. The had a Christmas party toward the end of the week in the lobby... with caroling and snow (just don't eat it). There was a decorated tree and a menorah. Had a great time.

Which ship on the 11th ?

We sailed on the Fasciantin the first week of December a few years ago, there was pine bunting all over each level of the atrium, a Christmas tree, and a Christmas show on the last afternoon. My BFF and I got all choked up, as the employees sang Silent Night with a battery operated candle procession. All I could think of, was, how far the employees are from their homes at this special time of year.

We will be cruising at the end of November (28th) to early December (5th) and I'm wondering if they'll have our ship decorated. Sure would be great to take a photo on the ship in front of their christmas tree...would be great for a holiday card that year (:

I think John Heald recently posted when all the ships will be decorated. By December 11th, all the ships should be decked out for the holidays :)
