WS Night Life - 7 night cruise

We are experienced big ship cruisers and will be taking our first Windstar cruise this winter. Is there night life aboard Wind Star?

Are there any live shows, movies, dancing to live or recorded music?

Depends on the ship and the fellow passengers. There is live music, either duo or 4-5 pieces in choice of two bars. Some cruises have passengers who love to dance and do every night , some not so much. Our first cruise everyone was dancing, another one was an early to bed group. Most have been between the two. But the live music is there if you stay up. No shows other than the night of the crew show which is always great fun. The power yachts have an outside bar where people congregate at night with a duo and an inside bar with dance floor. It's usually too cold for me so we're inclined to be outside listening to music. The Surf has duo in Compass Rose and some people dance there. The lounge has band and large dance floor. Hope that helps.
