Smith's Cove or Royal Palms

Hi! Going to Grand Cayman in February.

3 couples (adults only trip) and we are just looking for a nice relaxing day on a beach somewhere that won't set us back a fortune.

There will need to be restrooms and some shade (men aren't sun worshippers) and preferrably chairs.

What are your thoughts on these 2 places or is there somewhere else you would recommend?

Also what would taxi fare be for 6 people to these places?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, there are no chairs at Smith's Cove. There are also no watersports rentals of any kind, and no food/drink sales. Okay snorkeling, but you'd need your own gear.

Royal Palms is a full-service beach bar/restaurant, with an adults-only pool and excellent facilities.

There are lots of threads discussing these two spots, as well as the other common spots for cruise visitors to enjoy a beach day, and there will be lots more info and reviews in those threads.
