Not renting a car in Kauai, how can I get to my kayak excursion (not through ship)

Hi all!

I would really prefer not to rent a car, and I have found a good excursion that is not through the ship (Duke's Kayak). They do not pick up from the port so I am wondering what my options are?

Where do you need to get to? Where is the starting point?

Taxi is about $45 each way. You can check Uber, but not sure if they are continuing service in Hawaii, as there are disputes over new state regulations. Not sure if there is bus service where you want to go, I would suggest talking to the tour operator.
