Private tours available at the port?

We're interested is seeing Costa Maya via a private tour and I'm curious if anyone can help us out. We're not beach or active people but are looking for a trip for just the 2 of us for a few hours.

 

Are taxis available at the port to hire for a tour around the area? If so, is this safe? Anyone have other ideas or someone they can recommend that we can book?
