Default Barcelona port to airport

The Norwegian Gem is scheduled to arrive in Barcelona on Sun. Nov. 22 at 5 AM. Does anyone know if taxis to the airport are easily available at the port around 6 AM Sunday morning?

Haven't arrived on a Sunday, but the local taxi drivers know when the ships are due in, so I don't think you will have a problem...there are usually loads queued up first thing.

I know from a friend that he get off the ship at 05.35 hrs as very first - subject ship arrives at 05.00 hrs.

Our flight is 09.00 hrs but so 07.15 hrs from the ship is fine.

I see that you arrive on November 22, i. e. you are on same sailing like us.

You are welcome to join our roll-call and meet us at the meet & greet-event hosted by NCL.

25 minutes - varies to traffic conditions

40-50 USD - varies to day and time of travel and number of bags in trunk

Are you paying your taxis at home per person???

You pay per car - like you do in Barcelona.

There are dispatchers at the port and at the airport.

All taxis are metered.

The meter will start with an initial fee (which varies to time and weekday of travel)

During your ride the meter jumps by distance and by time (if you have to wait too long at traffic congestions of signals)

Once you arrive they will add manually the surcharges for

number of bags
surcharge for some special origin places like port, airport, trade fair

You get a receipt and pay.

If you want to be nice about 5% tip to round to a full amount.

NOTE the number of the taxi license. Each taxi must have a license no.

Just in case that you lost something and to identify the taxi
or
if you have a claim if you had paid 60 EUR instead of average 30 EUR for getting from the airport to the port.

Make sure that you get only taxis which looks like this in Barcelona:

The taxi license number is on the doorside.

No idea which ship you are on:

The address for the port is

Mol Adossat (subject you are on a smaller ship: could be also World Trade Center)

HeinBloed

I prepaid taxi from the port to the airport; look on web site for barcelona taxi or suntransfers. I used one to get to port and one to get to airport.
