Best balcony location on carnival Sunshine

We've sailed on The Sunshine twice and had the same room both times. We were in Spa Balcony Cabin #11027 and we loved it. We were just a few doors down from the elevator/stairs one direction and a few doors down from the Serenity adults only pool the other direction. It was super quiet. There was very little foot traffic on Deck 11 because there are not many cabins on the deck. It only took a few minutes to get to the food, drinks and ice cream on the Lido deck. The room did have nightstands and a mini fridge. Our balcony was covered so we had shade there most of the time... deck 10 below us was not covered so if we looked down we were looking right at them. I'll be glad to try to answer any questions you may have.

I posted the question on our roll call page. Here are the responses so far...

+ Middle of the ship was good. Water was pretty choppy on our cruise. If we where in the casino or.liquid lounge the boat would rock pretty good. Once we got to our cabin it was better.

+ We were in cabin 7300 and it was great. Very quite toward the back of the ship. Would stay there again.

+ Forward deck 9 was nice.

+ 7240 was a great cabin slept all night lol

+ 11012 was FANTASTIC! One of the "new deck-new cabin." Quiet. Rarely felt motion of the ocean. Surprised at how smooth it was.

+ We were in room 6344, L-shaped balcony room. It was a great room! Extra long balcony!

Has anyone have any comments on the Aft balconies? They look real , and I love all the sun you get. I just dont know how much vibration would be there..Right now we're on deck 8 midship ...I actually seen the room pics from reading a fellow cruisers review and they like its location . Now I know this may be an odd question, but when they did the ship over and added more cabins, are all the cabins on the sunshine updated as far as the decor? Or did they just do that to the newly added ones?

All cabins were updated. We did a cabin crawl and saw about 8 different cabins...they were all really nice!

Awesome! Exactly what i wanted to know!

I have book an inside spa... 11003 did you happen to get to see an Inside? Also what about feeling the motions ? I've only done lower middle before.

We did see the inside cabins and they looked like they were smaller than our balcony room. I don't think they had a sofa but I'm not positive. We didn't feel the motion of the ship except on a couple of days when the weather was really bad. I only took a pill for sea sickness one day and I don't think I really needed it...just a precaution. It was bad that day no matter WHERE you were on the ship!!

Has anyone here stayed in Cabin 7250? Was it noisy?

Hello cessnabmw - can't tell you if this cabin is noisy or not, but if after your cruise if you can tell me about the cabin. DH and I have it booked for 02/21/2016. My email is kgolfll@msn.com. Enjoy the cruise and talk with you later.

7250 is a good choice. Sandwich between cabin space and away from ublic areas
