Nassau Port Ideas

Going to be visiting Nassau next week on our cruise and am looking for ideas we can go that are safe, inexpensive and walking distance. Never been there, but understand Paradise Beach is a good option but didn't know about walking there. Read a lot of cautions on here around safety, so want to make sure that is not an issue when we are looking for places to sightsee and get a feel of Nassau.

Paradise Beach is part of the Atlantis property and is not accessible to non-guests.

There are other free beaches such as Cable Beach, Goodmans Bay, Junkanoo, and Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island. Some are calm and some are rough. Junkanoo is the only one that is walkable.

Most hotels offer day passes, from $30-$110pp.

There are walking tours of Nassau's historic sites as well. Just google Nassau walking tour.
