Splinter Posted June 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2016 In Juneau, there is accessible van or bus transportation right to the Mendenhall Glacier parking area. Best to book ahead to assure availability. We used the Blue Glacier Express shuttle when we were there last. Buy your ticket on-line, then call to confirm that you need a wheelchair accessible bus, since not all the buses have a lift: http://www.mmtoursofjuneau.com/#!land-tours/c20rm There is also an accessible taxi available in Juneau: Juneau Taxi & Tours 907-790-4511 (van with wheelchair ramp) Where did you want to go that you needed private transportation in these ports?
