SakeDad Posted March 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2007 I have been to Seattle a few times on business (shows at the Paramount) and love the city. But I am taking my mom and she has never been and I want to show her the BEST Seattle tour there is. Seattle will be as important to her as the Alaska cruise! We are staying at the Fairmont Olympic. I plan to take her to tea there when we get checked in then I want to take her on a tour of the city. Who has the best tour??? I really just need one that shows all the areas of town with a few stops. I plan to take her back to Pike Place Market afterwards and to dinner at my favorite place, Wild Ginger. THANKS:)

Jenbo57 Posted March 24, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2007 You know, I hate to say it, 'cuz I think they're kind of cheesy, but the Duck Tour is actually pretty good, and you do see a lot of Seattle. Also, Argosy Cruises (on the Seattle waterfront) has a really nice harbour tour. Glad to hear you're doing Pike Place Market; Pioneer Square and the International District are also interesting. Is your mom fairly mobile? You know how hilly Seattle is, but if mom's able to walk, you can actually walk to a lot of those places, because of how centrally located the Fairmont is. So much to see and do...so little time! (But oh my gosh, we did an Alaskan cruise last August, and even living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, that cruise was absolutely breathtaking!)
