Gramsk Posted July 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2004 Just returned on July 24, 2004 from the Norwegian Sea. We have been on ten cruises and this was still considered a good cruise. The ship is worn, the food was just okay, the entertainment was okay except for the comedian and the comedian/juggler, they were great. The staff are exceptionable, I recommend Iyer in the Seven Seas restaurant he and his assistant were very funny along with Nigel and Junior, but they were a little slow to warm up. On deck 9 Luis was our favorite, he took very good care of my disabled husband. Slots were very tight, didn't see any bargains in the shops, the shops seemed to be higher priced than other cruiseships. In Roatan we took a tour with Victor Bodden's brother Ben, We toured the island from end to end, we had great time, the island is beautiful and Ben was a great tour guide and funny. We even stopped at Victor's house for a tasty mango. We also stopped at Honeymoon Bay for snorkeling and it was wonderful. At Belize City we took the Tale of Two Cities tour. The city was interesting, and the ruins was really interesting. The tender ride took 15 minutes and the water was choppy. At Cancun we did the nautibus, glassbottom boat tour, the tender ride was about 25 minutes long on large tender. The ride was very nice. The tour was really great. At Cozumel we docked and went to Chankanaab, a great park with lots to see and do and the snorkeling was okay but not much to see. We had a very enjoyable cruise and are looking forward to cruising again from Houston but will be looking forward to a different ship. The Sea needs to be retired.
