Portuscale cruises cancelled

Read today that portuscale cruises have cancelled all planned cruises on the Funchal and are hoping for it to be chartered instead. one interesting thing is that newells travel who sell them in the uk clearly havent updated since they're still for sale...

Personally i'd like to see CMV charter her as she would go nicely with the M.V. Azores and Marco Polo. It will be such a shame if another old girl sails of to the knackers yard. I am booked on the Azores in march which CMV have chartered from Portuscale.

One does wonder how long they can last though as the Azores charter is the only ship of the fleet actually active and bringing them money...and it cant be cheap to keep them all maintained and just tied up in Lisbon.
