Sports bar in venice

Can anyone tell me if there is any sport type bars, where my husband can have a couple of beers an watch the English football, around the Venice area

There is good news and bad. In Venice there are a few sports bars (our favorite is the Irish Pub over at Cannaregio...which is a bit of a hike from the Piazale Roma. This place does manage to have a real sports bar atmosphere (especially in the evening) but whether you get to see the English football matches or your choice....is a big question. As I recall (and its been about 2 years since my last visit) they only had 4 or 5 TVs....and, as you might imagine, the house preference is Italian Football. So depending on circumstances at the time...you may or may not get to see your English teams.
