What to take (and not take) on excursion in Ocho Rios?

We are going on an excursion in Ocho Rios during our June cruise on the Carnival Conquest. The excursion starts with ziplining, then tubing, then ends at the Blue Hole. We are new to excursions - what do we take with us? If we're going to be swimming and getting wet how can we take camera/phone for pics/videos? I see lots of pics and videos from others that have visited these places while on excursions so I know it's possible... my fear is keeping track of the camera while we're all "having fun"! Do people use those waterproof cases? Any suggestions on what to take and what not to take?

I took my little waterproof camera. The only person that had it besides me was the guide at the Blue Hole. He took pictures for us and we just enjoyed ourselves. The rest of what I brought, stayed in our tour van with our driver. Have fun!

Thanks! I just viewed the video of your Western Caribbean cruise that you linked to in your signature... FUN! The "little waterproof camera" that you used at Blue Hole... is that a GoPro? (or something similar?)
