Daytona 500 traffic

We will be getting off of the Sensation on Sunday. I know Sunday is the Daytona 500. How much traffic do you think we will run into? We will be starting our drive home.

Greetings

Before the start of the race traffic will be quite heavy around Daytona. If you can arrive in the Daytona area around 1 PM it should have died down. Otherwise just get in the left lane once you near Daytona and hope for the best. Traffic begins getting heavy around 9:30 AM and peaks at about 11-11:30. The traffic is worst right around where I-4 meets I-95 just south of the speedway.
