Cigarettes on the Getaway?

Hey do they sell cigarettes cheap on the Getaway or should we bring our own? Also, can you smoke on the balcony of a spa suite?

Yes they are cheaper on ship. I have not been in a spa balcony but I do not think they allow smoking on the balcony.

Unless this policy has changed:

Effective January 2012, guests setting sail on a Norwegian cruise vacation are no longer permitted to smoke cigarettes in their staterooms. Guests who are in a balcony stateroom will be permitted to smoke on the outside balcony; however, cigar and pipe smoking in staterooms and on balconies is prohibited. Ashtrays will be available for use upon request through housekeeping staff.

Will depend where you live if the cigarettes are cheap or not. I think last time we paid around $150 for 5 cartons.

NCL in general allows smoking on balconies and I have not seen anything posted here, on NCLs site or in a daily that it is prohibited on spa category rooms balconies. Not 100% positive tho.

The special on Marlboro's brands for at least 2-3 days on the Getaway was $124 for 5 cartons. The other days, it was a bit higher, maybe $140-ish.

The best price for ciggies is St. Martin. Last cruise dh got Marlboro Lights at a shop downtown for $18 a carton. Can't beat that

You can smoke on any balcony. Just not in the stateroom.
