It looks like I probably won't be giving a report....husband is in ICU with pneumonia and kidney failure. He keeps telling the doctor he's got a cruise to go on but....will know more after results from last battery of tests and ultrasound

The cruise may be back on....Kidney function is returning and looks like the hospital will release him in a couple days :D

My husband called this morning and said they're keeping him an extra day just to be sure he's good-to-go on the cruise :D .....looks like the cruise is back on. Maybe the thought of the cruise gave him the incentive to get better faster ;)

Getting excited?? When we sail in Oct we are parking at the port since it's only a 2 hr drive from home to Port Canaveral. I did prepay my parking today and printed off the receipt. I then take that to casino cage first night and they will reimburse me. Have loads of fun, win big and can 't wait to hear all the details. My DH and I are sailing this Sat with friends on the Glory. We'll have a good time but all I can think about is the Elite cruise with my daughter..we have not seen each other for 2 years and we will have an absolute blast!!

Okay Popsec, we are excited to hear all about your cruise. Hopefully your husband is doing great, and to top it off you won lots on money.

OK..a little teaser....Lincoln Navigator picked us up and brought us back to the hotel after the cruise. I can tell you about our "elite" experience but it doesn't mean yours will be the same....

The really great thing was that not only did we get the drink cards for the casino, but we were told any drinks purchased outside the casino would be subtracted from our bill at the end of the cruise!!! Be sure to check your bill the final morning because our drinks weren't subtracted and we had to go to pursers desk this morning and they fixed it.

I have been checking the board all day waiting to hear all about your experience. I sure hope your husband made out okay. Yes that was just a tease. Did all the elite board the cruise together? How was the brunch? How many was in your group? Did you have a good group? We are getting so excited. Only 20 days to sailing and 18 days to vacation. Are you staying in Orlando? We are flying into Orlando 2 days before the cruise. Yes, that is a really good thing, that they covered drinks for all of the ship? Did they get casino cash as well? Sorry for all the questions, and I do understand ours may not be exactly the same. Whatever it is I am sure we will have a great time and enjoy whatever comes our way. Just 18 sleeps to vacation. It has been a difficult year at work, so the break is more than needed. Hope to read more soon. Thanks for taking the time to post.

More, more, more !!! We are also getting excited. I got off the Ory yesterday with my DH. We had a great time and the Glory staff all over the ship was the Best !! Getting anxious for my daughter to get here on Oct 2. We will have such an amazing time, that we 're sure of.
