I think it is probably a ramp. I remember a ramp at the FKL dock last year and likely they did the same when they built the new AS dock.

It looks steep -- I would have trouble getting up and down it. I had trouble in Icy Straight Point getting up their ramp a couple of years ago.

I have been studying the new Juneau dock.

Is there a big flight of stairs that you have to go up before you get ashore?

We docked at the new dock last week...it was easy on and off, no stairs thank goodness, just a ramp and it wasn't very steep.

It sure sounds like it. It seemed like it was going to turn violent for a bit but then things calmed down. There is one person who has a really annoying laugh!:eek:
