Karaoke on Carnival Spirit?

Hi all,

I keep reading about karaoke on various ships and especially on Carnival ships based in the US, but I'm not seeing much from here. Does the Spirit (or Legend when sailing out of Sydney) have karaoke nights or legends shows, or is that really for the American crowd?

We were on the Spirit late last year and from memory, they had karaoke late in the afternoon, early evening, on sea days.

On the spirit in August. It does have Karaoke in the evenings.

We were on Spirit in June 13 & they had Karoke in Club Cool on Sea days (not sure if it was all sea days). As well as that, they have a great cover band called Music Manila (or similar name) playing most nights in Club Cool. There's other threads on CC about them and they are still on Spirit.

One of my travelling companions asked the Music Manila band if he could sing a song - they said yes and he nailed the national anthem - Khe Sanh. During the cruise a number of people approached them and asked to play guitar/drums etc. the boys in the band were ver gracious and always let them sit in for a song or two.
