Snorkeling in Belize

Can anyone give me input on these 3 Carnival snorkeling excursions? We are wanting to do a Carnival excursion. We like that Carnival excursion will pick up at the boat and we do not have to take tender to port.

1. Sergeant's Cay Snorkel Adventure

2. Snorkeling Wonders of the Barrier Reef

3. Barrier Reef Snorkel & Starfish Island Getaway

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

We took the Sergeants Caye excursion a couple of years ago. It was ok, but it wasn't my favorite snorkel experience. We did like that we were picked up at the ship. The snorkeling was out in the middle of the ocean, and the waves and current was exhausting for me. I'm not the strongest swimmer, but I'm an experienced snorkeler. I just hate fighting waves. The guides were good, and showed us an eel. To see the prettier reef, you had to swim close to where waves were breaking on the reef. I couldn't handle that, but my husband did and got some pretty pictures.

We were returned to the ship in time to catch a tender to town and shop an hour or so.

Slash Wave do not use

We had originally booked Goff Island and when we arrived the "manager" talked us I no Hol Chan. She said it was the best snorkel and not crowded. We paid more money than originally told and was loaded on a boat with all others waiting. Before stepping into boat I once again said this is going to Hol Chan and she said yes and told the captain these 4 are the ones. When we arrived at Cay Caulker we inquired about Hol Can and were told we were not going. We were got back to Belize City we saw the 'manager" and told her we were not happy . She said we paid for Cay Caulker. We told her paid what she told us to pay and she knew we wanted to go to Hol Chan. What we believe happen is she only had the 4 of us to go to Goff so she talked us into Hol Chan and then the others that were suppose to go didn't show up she put us on the boat to Cay Caulker.
