New Orleans Transportation - What would you do?

Good morning!

We are two couples traveling to New Orleans a few days early before a cruise the end of August.

We need transportation from the airport to the Embassy Suites; Embassy Suites to the Carnival cruise terminal; and from the cruise terminal back to the airport.

We have 4 people with probably one larger suitcase and one carryon per person. Not likely to be using Uber or Lyft.

I did price Go Airport shuttle and it looks like about $96 for the trips from/to the airport and not the hotel to the cruise terminal. I think a taxi may be cheaper. Do taxis take credit cards?

I appreciate your help on this. What would you do?

Thank you!

I'd engage a minivan taxi. From the airport to the downtown area is a fixed fee of $15 per person for 3 or more. There many be a small additional fee for the bags. Taxis are required to accept credit cards, but I would ask if the credit card machine is working before you get in the taxi.
