Inn At Whittier ???

Does anyone know if the Inn At Whittier had foreclosure?? If they didn't do you think it would be OK to book with them?:confused: That is really where we wanted to book but don't know now.

We also had reservations there, but I canceled after reading about their troubles. I thought, "Why take the chance?" and we decided to extend our stay in Seward instead. Actually, I'm glad we did. There's much more to do in Seward, and we'll still have time to go on the glacier cruise out of Whitter before we board the Coral Princess.

If Whitter weren't in the middle of nowhere, maybe I'd think differently, but geez, it's so hard to even get there, I can't imagine what I'd do if we showed up and there was "no room at the Inn" (LOL).

They are still open and doing well so far this summer. I spoke with one of the owners and they said they won't lose it and will remain open.

A friend stayed there 2 weeks ago and said it was very nice.
