Sitting here Ushuaia preparing to embark tomorrow, just had phone call from travel agents to say Le Soleal sustained damage yesterday and will not be sailing on it's Antarctica itinerary tomorrow. Just great, travelled half way round the world at a cost of 4.5k for 1 night in Ushuaia. Devastated.

Not the news you want to get after having traveled so far. Have you checked any of the local travel agencies to see if there is a cabin on another ship sailing to the Antarctic in the time frame you have available?

What a major disappointment for you, especially as you are already in Ushuaia! I can well imagine how devastated you must feel.

I hope the cruiseline is supporting you and trying to get passengers on other ships. Or are you having to do that yourself?

A measure of an excellent cruiseline is how it looks after its passengers in times like these.
