Order of MDR menus on Escape

we are planning on the 9/16/17 Escape western caribbean cruise. Likely to choose the 3 night SDP. Is there a way to know which menus from the 7-day rotation will be served which night so we have a better idea when to book Cagney's etc?

It's our 3rd cruise on Escape...figure it's time to check out the alternate dining venues!

We prefer to eat quite late, have seen the shows several times and won't need to get up early for excursions. Are we likely to have trouble booking the specialty DRs ( will likely book cruise tomorrow so basically a month out. )

Will go for internet package if the consensus is "no way you'll get reservations at this point."

Thanks

You will still be able to get reservations on embarkation day as soon as you board since only a small percentage of the time slots are made available for those staying in the haven at the 100 day mark and those staying elsewhere on the ship at the 90 day mark. Since you do prefer to eat quite late, as soon as you book your trip, you can check to see what might still be available. There could possibly be a 900 or 930 time slot available for some days at this point, but like I said already, don't fret because you can get them reserved as soon as you board. If you wait until sail away, you could be shut out. Below is a link to give you an idea, but nothing is concrete and the order can be switched up.

Thanks! Rapid reply given the hour, even if not on EDT!

Partner just raised an interesting question.

Can we on night X have an appetizer or some such in the MDR, then go to a specialty Venu later?

There are a few nights' menus in the MDR where we love some of the menu choices, hence the primary question. Do they change them around even on the same (western Carribbbea) itinerary or can we assume (if someone ne has the recent order) it will stay the same?

Of course you can get an app in the MDR or better yet go to O'Sheehans for their thai wings and then go to a specialty later on. Another great place to try is Food Republic, which is open for lunch from 12-230 on sea days and everyday after 530 for dinner. It's a la carte tapas style small plates. The menu was listed in the link in my previous post. No idea about the switching up with the MDR menus, but I will tell you that on day one they have all you can eat prime rib in both the buffet as well as O'Sheehans at dinnertime.
