Amsterdam pre cruise hotel

We are sailing on the Constellation May 21 of this year to the Baltics. We are planning a two day pre-cruise visit to Amsterdam. We would appreciate any hotel suggestions that would stratigically place us close to most attractions yet provide easy commute to the pier.

Amsterdam is compact with many hotels, nothing is far away. The cruiseterminal is close to Centraal Station, also close to city centre.
