Pepowdylan Posted August 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2017 Can anyone recommend a catamaran that I can book that will take us to JVD and Soggy Dollar? The Rebel Yell is booked on our NCL Escape cruise the end of this month.
blue_water Posted August 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2017 Sorry, for your short port time I'm not aware of any transportation other than a taxi to the West End ferry. Taxi fare to the ferry depends on the number of people - 1 person = $54 round trip, 2 ppl = $28pp round trip, 3 or more ppl = $24pp round trip. The ferry is $25pp round trip, and the taxi on Jost is $10pp round trip. Figure at least 1 hr each way with this option. One of Kuralu's cat itineraries includes a short visit to White Bay and you can contact them, but these itineraries are full-day trips And may not be an option for you... 4Suzyq Posted August 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Not too long ago someone posted the name of a captain that took them to JVD for the day. It was arranged after they landed in Tortola. If you search JVD you may find the post.
blue_water Posted August 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2017 Also do use caution when using someone you find when you arrive and have done no research on. There are good and bad reports on a couple operators offering a ride to Jost and Virgin Gorda. We would take the ferry if nothing else was available.
