Almeria

What is there to do in Almeria for one day.. In July we will be there on a cruise and would like to know if there are things of interest to do in the port area or do we need to take a tour. The tours do not look very interesting. Thanks for any help that is out there for us. :):):)

Just looking for some interesting places to see fairly close to the port. Their web site has a few ideas and if you have some it should take up the 4 or 5 hours we want to be in town. Thanks :):):)

think we are on same ship.. i posted few months ago that my husband and I are considering hiring a guide to take us to some wineries
