Blue Lagoon... Dolphin or Sea Lion Encounter?

Vacation planning is well on its way.. yay!! But my hubby and I are having a hard time deciding whether or not we want to try the dolphin encounter or the sea lion encounter. If it was my choice I would do the dolphin swim but unfortunately all the slots are already filled. Bummer! I tried looking into outside shore excursion websites and they are all full too. :( Guess that's what we get for planning a cruise last minute. I was mainly just curious if anyone has tried both excursions and felt one offered more than the other. Thanks in advance for answering!

Oh, and hubby wants to know if the blue lagoon snorkeling area is barricaded to where sharks can't get in!

We totally enjoyed the Dolphin Encounter there in March. Nice island.
