A day in Wellington with a driver

I've posted this on the ports of call board but thought I would repost here.

I've a day in Wellington on Solstice and want to head up to Palmerston North. Am looking for recommendations for a driver / guide who will take me up, hang out for a bit while I visit a cemetery (long story), and bring me back.

Suggestions welcome.

We did a 1/2 day with Gary from http://www.kiwicoastaltours.co.nz when we visited Wellington a couple of years ago. He may be able to do something for you if you arrange it in advance.

The tour was organised through the the NZ tourist center in Wellington (http://www.newzealand.com/au/wellington/) - they may be able to help arrange something suitable as well.
