late flight home from miami

we are a group of 11, 3kids two 12 yr olds and a seven yr. old if we don't want a Miami excursion to pass the time does anyone have any ideas, thanks

Car rental (probably 3 cars for 11 of you, especially if any pack like my wife :o), put the bags in the trunk, and then go where you want -- South Beach, Miami Zoo, Hollywood boardwalk, shopping, etc.

Hertz in downtown Miami offers free POM shuttles; National, Alamo & Thrifty offer free POM shuttles from their MIA airport location.

Your other option is to cab to MIA, pay a fee for luggage storage, and then ride the airport flyer bus for $2.35 each to South Beach -- beach, lunch, people watching, etc. -- then bus back to MIA in time to check in for your flight.
