BABBY Posted July 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2017 Just booked to go on the spirit in Aug/Sept, adults only and was wondering what diy trips are easy to do on the venetian vistas and classical greece and where nearest beaches to the ports. We have done a few cruises and all the other thomson ships so looking forward to trying this ship :) We have booked cabin 0615 ( after 25 mins waiting for thomson to answer after being on hold) so also wondered if anyone has had this cabin?, we would have preferred a double bed (this is L shape twins) but they had all gone and thought best to avoid the back of the ship as heard could be noisy with vibration?. Has anyone done the adults only cruise on this ship? and if so what are the approx ages of passengers? Many thanks
Vitalsign Posted July 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2017 Sorry can't help with trips as was only on for a week in June and had done most of the ports before but here goes if you're in Corinth can recommend the boat trip through the canal Katakolon a lot did the trip to Olympia Venicehave done the private launch half day trip twice where you do your own thing once there If you want to do St Marks and the Doges Palace you will need a full day as there is a lot of queuing As far as the average age it was probably mid 50s but could be younger in August even tho adult only Hope this helps not sure where else you are going without looking at the itineries online
