Bathsheba and Rockley

Trying to plan our day in Barbados, we will be there in November and we are in Port from 11-7. I have been doing a lot of reading and know that there are so many beautiful spots, but the 2 that have really caught my eye are Bathsheba and Rockley Beach. Is it going to be possible to get to both of these in my time frame? Won't require a lot of time at Bathsheba, but would like some time to get some photos, and then beach time at Rockley. If possible, what would be the best way to do this?

It would be almost impossible to get quality time at both of these locations in one day.

You will have to choose one or the other.

Get a taxi, and have him/her take you over to the Bathsheba area

where I'm sure he'll know all/most of the photogenic spots

spend 1/2 hr. there taking pics

and then have him take you back over the other side of the island

to Rockley -by about noon/thereabouts, to spend time on the beach.

Release your taxi driver at Rockley:

you can always get another taxi back to the ship, hours later

from the nearby Accra Beach Hotel where the taxi stand is almost on the beach!

Rockley beach has food, drinks, shower, chairs, umbrellas

(even pizza available nearby at Chefette across the road from the beach)

Remember NO swimming over on the East Coast (rip tides etc.)
