If needed, are wheelchairs available for debarkation on RCCL ?

If so,and we can use one, what time can we expect to get off ship ? Need a "ball-park" time for our pick up.

  • Yes wheelchair assistance is provided on disembarkation day.
  • If you're booked in an accessible cabin you get a notice in your cabin the night before as to what location on the ship you need to go to on disembarkation to obtain wheelchair assistance. You're not picked up directly from your cabin.
  • If booked in a standard cabin information regarding the location of where to get wheelchair assistance will be listed in the Compass Newsletter left in your cabin the night before.
  • No one on CC can give you a ball park time for pick-up . Reasons being :
  • Varies on total number of people requiring wheel assistance as well as the number of people with the same luggage tag number.

  • Limited number of wheelchairs as well as pushers. Also important to note that it varies by port as to whether or not you'll be able to be wheeled out directly to the transportation area.

  • The procedure is to check in with the RCCL representative at the location stated in the Compass. You'll be asked for your disembarkation number stated on the luggage tag tickets that RCCL provided for disembarkation. Your name will than be placed on list and than you're directed to sit/wait until your name is called.

I generally recommend going to the disembarkation wheelchair assistance area 30-45 minutes prior to the time assigned to your luggage tag number.
