Buying Soda before boarding Voyager of the sea out of Galveston

Hi all! This question may have been asked before but I could not find it in the search area. We are sailing on Voyager out of Galveston, arriving early in Houston and using RCCL's transportation to the pier and were wondering if there was anywhere that we could get some Diet Coke to bring on board. It seems like people on the boards say that you can bring pop on board with you but we need a place to get it. Any advice?

There are no facilities currently open near the cruise terminal to purchase soft drinks.

The CVS pharmacy on the corner of 25th Street & Broadway is open. It is about a 6 block walk from the pier. That is probably the nearest convenience store within walking distance of the pier that would carry canned or bottled soda.
