Taking softdrink onboard

Recommended Posts

I have packed boxed soft drink, ie 6 or 12 pack, and put it in a Coles type cloth bag......strap around the whole thing and added luggage tag and checked with my main luggage. have never had a problem receiving undamaged with my other checked luggage. Have done this with Princess and (I think) other cruise lines.

You can do it if you want to. I would only say it is best to take your own soft drinks if the ship does not offer a soft drink package. P&O UK for example have rather steep prices for soft drinks and no packages so I take my own little cans for my cabin. If you are going with a line like Princess then buy their package as it is good value for money.

We pack up to about 9 cans each in our 2 lunch size cooler/carry bags & they fit comfortably in our carry on luggage.

We don't risk them in any check-in baggage just in case - those Pepsi Max cans & others are notorious (with us at least) to explode at the slightest impact.

My wife too loves her Pepsi Max!

Cheers

Phil
