port vs ship time & private excursion

I want to make sure I am understanding this correctly. I want to book with Stingray Sailing and they sent an email stating the meet time is 8:30 Grand Caymen time. We are sailing NCL in April...after daylight savings which GC doesn't do..and keeps "Florida time". Sooooo...that means a 2 hour difference? We are actually in GC 6:00-2:00 their time....8:00 to 4:00 ship time? Which gives us 2 hours before the excursion, and 1 1/2 hours after? I just want to be sure we can do this before I confirm our reservation.

In the winter, Cayman is the same time as Miami. In the summer, during daylight savings, they are 1 hour behind Miami (8am Miami = 7am Cayman)

Thank you....I re-read the email and that is basically what they said...I thought they were an hour behind standard time. Well that certainly clears it up and we will now be confirming our excursion with them!
