am588 Posted December 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2011 Has anyone participated in this class? I currently do bootcamp at my gym and would love to do this on a ship. From what I understand, its $12/class and its 4 classes (from the magic's latest posted funtimes). Does anyone know if it is a 30 minute class or 1 hour class? I'm in the process of planning excursions and this would essentially change which excursions I do. Thanks!
TX Cruise Girl Posted December 31, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2011 I just got off the Carnival Triumph and it was two 30 minute sessions for $69. All of the other classes were $12 but not boot camp. The flyer that I got says that if you purchase the boot camp package you get a $30 spa credit so I guess that offsets the cost a little. The only problem is you really can't get anything in the spa for $30 so you would still end up spending more money. I saw the boot camp class once and it had about 5 people participating with an instructor calling out moves that he had written on a poster board in front of the class. I thought I was going to participate in classes but I ended up just doing the machines on my own.
nw2this Posted January 13, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2012 I thought only Yoga, Pilates, Spin had a fee. I was expecting boot camp to be free. According to the funtimes this class meets every sea day at 4:00. Good timing for showering and dressing for dinner right after.
am588 Posted January 22, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted January 22, 2012 boot camp was a fee (wasn't able to do due to surgery 2 days before cruise), but they had 4 classes offered and you had to sign up for all 4. Not sure how much all 4 classes were
