Christmas decorations

They do decorate but likely not as much on Quantum as other ships. We sailed the Oasis of the Seas on January 2nd 2010 and they did decorate, but very basic. Since she was new and filming for press material was still occurring they often don't want to change the appearance of new ships too much. We'll see if Quantum is any different. When we sailed the Indy transatlantic in 2012 we left Southampton on Thanksgiving and it was so much fun to see the boxes of decorations come out a few days later and then slowly go up all the way across the ocean. They were finally finished when we reached Ft. Lauderdale so it was like a slightly different ship every day (some times just because they weren't happy with their work and wanted to do things a different style).

That Christmas tree in the Promenade, garland in the MDR and a few other railings, and poinsettia in Central Park were the extent of the decorations. In recent years they've hung snowflakes and other things throughout.

And of course the ship Christmas Card!

By the end it was hard to look anywhere without seeing a Christmas tree, garland, or some form of Christmas decoration.
