Looking for suggestions for a good seafood restaurant within walking distance of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Pedro. Thank you in advance.:)

My favorite...and it's just on the next block over from the CP (East on 6th)...is the San Pedro Brewing Co.

We were there last in January before our Crown Princess cruise. I had the Fire Grilled Tri-tip Sandwich--which is outstanding...

The menu has a lot of varied choices...The atmosphere is very casual...Food is very good.

Another restaurant of note, if you are not from this area, is Acapulco--which is in the other direction from the CP--at the waterfront...It's part of a local chain...and very Americanized Mexican food...reasonably priced, casual...but one attraction here is that it is right on the water...If you are there early on a n afternoon when a ship is leaving out of San Pedro, you can have drinks out on the patio and watch the ship cruise by at sailaway...Of course, for Mexican Food, a lot of folks like the Green Onion--which is right next to the CP walking down to the waterfront.

Whale & Ale on 7th is another choice...British pub food...

Lots of other restaurants within a few blocks of the CP, mostly on 6th...

For purely seafood though, you may want to grab a taxi and head down to the 22nd Street Landing...It's a little over a mile away:

Oh...Thought of one more...This one is within a couple of blocks of the CP...on 5th:

There are a bunch of seafood places in the Ports o' Call complex on the waterfront...But I don't recommend them--they are mostly "order at the counter, eat on a picnic table" third-world feeling restaurants...

If you like Mexican Food there is the Green Onion less than a 1/2 block from the Crown Plaza. The night before our cruise we ate in the bar during happy hour. $3 margaritas and $3 Corona.

Had a blast drinking margaritas, watching football games, playing lotto keno with many people going on the cruise the next day.

We thought the food was very good. I had great chile rellenos and my wife had mexican liver and onions which she raved about.

Try it for food or just having apps, chips and salas..
