september nyc to bermuda

planning my cruise to bermuda from new york in mid september. should i be packing a few warmer clothes for this trip? have only sailed in the caribbean before. thanks

My wife and I were there in mid-September three years ago, and it was quite pleasant. I looked it up, and average temps seem to range from 76 to 84: http://www.bermuda-attractions.com/bermuda_000156.htm

Have always gone in Sept. or Oct. and never needed anything warm once in Bermuda. However, the first day leaving out of NY. or NJ. and the last day coming home were quite chilly a couple of times so you may need something for those times.

even if we where going to las vegas in august always take a sweatshirt. its a small pain if not needed but if you do .

You shouldn't need anything warmer other then a sweater or windbreaker. We cruised to be Bermuda several times in Sept. (Which incidentally, we find the BEST month to go...barring running into a hurricane!)
