Saraphine Posted September 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2015 My family of four will be cruising out of Port of Miami, returning early February. After the cruise we plan to spend a couple of days at Universal Studios. I am trying to figure out the best way to get there without renting a car. I have found a company All Tour Bus Line (http://www.alltourbusline.com/). Their pickup is at Bayside (401 Biscayne Blvd) and drop off is at their Orlando Terminal (7536 Universal Blvd). Pick up is 10:00am, drop off is at 2:45 pm. The one way transfer is only $19.99 per person. I have a couple of questions if anyone could answer them: Have you heard of this company and do they have a good reputation? Is the pickup location at Bayside easy to get to? Can we walk there safely? Or would it require a cab? Is there a different option to get us to Universal easier and quicker that does not involve renting a car? This seems like a relatively good option (although I would prefer to arrive in Orlando earlier)...is there anything I have not considered that might affect the ease of this trip? Thanks all in advance!
JohninDC Posted September 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2015 Never heard them mentioned on this board. From POM to Bayside is about a $10+tip cab ride - with the traffic heading in/out of POM I would not try to walk it, especially with a family. Good luck! :)
Saraphine Posted September 3, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted September 3, 2015 Thank you for the tip about the cab. You're right...high volume Miami traffic around the port probably is not something I would enjoy walking through!
