Is sapphire beach rocky?

Sapphire is not rocky except in a few places so entry and exit is not a problem. Sapphire has good snorkeling but the waters can be rougher so it depends on how your 3 year old will handle the waves.

Magens is not rocky and is usually very calm but there is no snorkeling to speak of.

Bill, if the chance of rougher water is a concern for the OP Secret Harbor would be a good second choice would it not? That doesn't offer the abundant shade like Sapphire and is smaller, but is better protected and also offers snorkeling.
