Have been to the Bath's and loved it. This year we took a ship's tour of Tortola and it was really nice. We stopped for several photo stops and then went to Cane Garden Bay. We were there for an hour. It is a lovely beach with clean bathrooms. They gave us each a rum punch and we could choose to add as much rum as we wanted. There are little flea market style booths with tropical clothing and souvenirs. It was $29pp. We enjoyed this tour and felt it gave us a general outlook of the island.
That is the standard tour of Tortola, with Cane Garden Bay being the main destination. Unfortunately CGB is the main tourist attraction and gets very busy because there are 6 or 7 beach bars/restaurants there and it's accessible by safari truck taxis. It is a great spot for happy hours and dinners but it is not typical of Tortola. That was a nice tour though because you got to see many of the west side bays enroute.
The Baths are a unique formation and if there is a must-do in the BVI that's one.
