Princess Shuttles in Port?

We are cruising on the Regal Princess in July.

Our itinerary takes us to Helsinki, Finland and Gothenburg, Sweden, both of which are some distance from the cruise ship port.

Has anyone sailed to either of these ports?

Do the cruise ship companies (Princess, in our case) provide Shuttles from the port into town?

How much do these Shuttles cost?

You should also know that in Helsinki the larger cruise ships, like the Regal, will be docking at the West Harbour.

This location is much further from the city than the other cruiseports.

Someone, recently off of the Regal, should be able to answer this.

The ship will more than likely contract with a local company for shuttle bus in Gothenburg...use it..as this is a very industrial port far removed from the city..it should be approx $9.00pp round trip...ours was onboard our RCI ship.

I just returned from a sail on Regal Princess. There were free shuttle buses provided by the city of Gothenburg to transport cruise passengers from the port (yes at a spot with lots of containers) to the city center, and back.

At the Gustav Adolf’s Square, across from Nordstan.

That is adjacent to Brunnsparken which is a large hub for Gothenburg's public transport.
