Had anyone stayed at this hotel recently and if so what did you think about it. Also can you give us some idea of not too pricey restaurants in the area, serving good Puerto Rican food. Breakfast is included at the hotel.

W stayed here in Jan for 2 nights and loved it. It was a simple hotel with a pool, nice breakfast and a nice bar. It's within walking distance of many stores and restaurants .

Great! Is it close to the beach? Do you have any suggestions about restaurants in the area? Did you go to Old San Juan from there? By taxi or walk? We will also be there for 2 nights.

So sorry for all the questions!!!

The BW Condado is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Ashford Avenue is the intersecting street by the hotel and this is the street that has the majority of restaurants. Two pharmacies are closer to the hotel than the beach is. I would suggest you travel via taxi to Old San Juan.
