You can check the kiosks right along the waterfront on main street. Aruba Aloe products and small paintings make wonderful gift souvenirs. Unfortunately a lot of the trinkets are made elsewhere. ;)

Most of the stuff for sale is really total garbage and made in China. Aruba is not a great stop for "native" handicrafts. They make beer and aloe products.

 

the only item made on aruba is aruba aloe - i love the bath gel and shampoo but they have an entire line of products

Try the craft store in the cluster of shops in the center of town (from the cruise ship port). The store is on the second floor. They sell an array of beautiful crafts using an old art form called Mopa Mopa. Check it out on-line to learn more
