Pacaya volcano transportation

Has anyone done the Pacaya Volcano excursion through Royal Caribbean? The descriptive writeup almost makes it sound like you have to arrange your own transportation, which I would think would be odd with an excursion booked through the cruiseline. With this particular tour, I would feel better going through the cruise to ensure the ship waits for you if you are late returning - assuming they do, in fact, provide the transportation.

I agree that it is odd that it is not clear on transportation. In fact that is really all you need as there are guides and hourses to take you up. Our driver waited for us while we did the climb. Horses are 100qz or $12 pp each way.

Your main concern is having that guaranteed transportation back to the ship.
