In another thread people are talking about buying OBC from Cunard - some Brits have managed to be charged in UK Pounds at a very favorable rate (over $1.50 per £). Can that OBC be drawn upon for in-port cash (either at the Purser's desk or at the casino)?

Not sure how it can be used (I imagine it could be used for cash), but I was told by Cunard that OBC could only be bought in $ - although I see some have managed to buy it in £ at the good rate mentioned. (I only managed to buy a wine package at this rate).
