Jeep Rental

Grand Cayman is one of our stops this August and while I wanted to go to Stingray City my husband and son are worried about being stung so instead we are going to rent a jeep and drive around the island sightseeing and visiting different beachs.

My question is what happens if weather prevents us from tendering, do we get charged for the car anyway? I know I need to ask the rental company (and I have e-mailed Avis) but I was wondering what others real experience has been?

Thank you

If you want additional ammunition to convince them to go to Stingray City instead, you might mention that car accidents are much more frequent than stingray-related injuries... :-)

Hi there

You could just wait till you get there to book.

We did it once and had a great time driving around the island. We didn't have a jeep but it was fine.

You do know they drive on the left side...some people have a hard time getting used to it.

have a great cruise
