Royal Caribbean fan here just to say my first non-RC cruise will without a doubt be on the MSC Seaside.

I have been eyeing the prices on the TA in November 2017 but I don't think I could take 3 weeks off :p:D:eek:

What a unique ship this will be, cooler than the Carnival Vista even I would say...

Lots of cool features on MSC Seaside,,,from the longest zip line at sea,,to slide boarding,,,to magical 3d dressing mirrors and more,,,we are looking forward to sailing her for two weeks in April 2018!!:)

MSC will be making waves in the cruise industry going to a full time caribbean ship/route.

MSC Divina is in Miami year round until April 2017 when she will return back to the MED,,but 8 months later, MSC Seaside will be here and MSC Divina will return as well so there will be 2 MSC ships sailing the Caribbean in the winter of 2017.:)

Yes,,,my mistake,,,I should have typed 2018 rather than 2017,,,so MSC Divina will return back to the MED in April 2018, while MSC Seaside will remain in the Port Of Miami sailing year round in the Caribbean,,,,my apologies for the typo!!!

No worries we are newbie cruisers (just one on RCI and had a great time) but have become hooked quite quickly :D Love reading all the posts about Seaside and Divina. We are on Divina November 5th (I guess a month after dry dock) and I'm pretty excited about it. Seaside sounds great too. Think that has to go on the "to do" list

SO you have plenty of time to become a Divina expert before you sail!!! MSC keep their ships in impeccable and pristine condition so I can't imagine what she will have done during her dry dock. Wearable items such as carpets,,curtains, etc. will be replaced I'm sure. We're hoping to get another Divina sailing in before MSC Seaside arrives,,,we absolutely love the ship and her crew!!!:D

Hahaha im wary of that!! i read some of.them on the other cruise line forums and most are great but some are soooo "loyal" it's scary. MSC seems a little different in that regard.

It looks a beautiful ship and I'm partial to most things Italian I have to say. I think it will be a great cruise. Will be interested to see what people report in the month before us who maybe have been on her before so they can say what's been changed/Reno'd.

I try to enjoy all travel no matter what it is and go with the flow and if the odd thing isn't quite what I was expecting well that's how life is sometimes right?

Msc builds a beautiful ship and Carnival can't compete.
